What an engrossing and entertaining book about some amazing and unusual aspects of human physiology. Each chapter explores the wonders and mysteries of different body parts such as our "Flaky Birthday Suit (ever-shedding and self-replacing skin cells), "Stereo Sniffer" (the reason for having two nostrils), and "Dead End Tube" (the appendix). I love how each chapter is packed with information about the function of these intriguing parts of ours and speculations about why they even exist. The artwork is goofy which makes the presentation of anatomical details light and entertaining. My favorite aspect of the book is the "Freaky Facts" that are scattered throughout and add to the fun.
